Our Caregivers...


At AEHC we value the dignity, respect and safety of our clients and their families. Because of this, we give extra time and attention to the hiring and training process of our staff.

  • Caregivers must pass a national criminal background check, social security verification, drug tests, TB testing, personal interview and skills tests, obtain a Food Handler's Card, provide verifiable employer and personal references
  • Caregivers are employees of AEHC, ensuring payment of worker’s compensation, payroll and social security taxes
  • Caregivers are matched to the individual Client based on skill, experience, personality and compatibility
  • Caregivers are required to complete an additional six training hours per year to stay current with care standards
  • Caregivers must complete a 3 hour orientation and a six hour OSHA Safety Training Program before they can work

All initial assessments are free. Services will be discussed and a service plan, specific to your needs, will be developed.
